Learning and Skills Council

In November 2007, the Prime Minister announced that a national apprenticeship vacancy service would be rolled out across England to enable young people to find and apply for apprenticeships. The deadline was the end of 2008.

LSIS

The Government announced the Diploma for 14-19 year olds in 2008 as a way of bridging the divide between academic education and vocational education.  Students can gain the Diploma in one of 14 different industry sectors.

Emap

In 2007 Emap (now Bauer Consumer Products) was engaged in a challenging project to pilot the concept of self-service advertising.  This project involved a cloudbased CRM system, customer engagement, and management of the change for advertising booking experts within Emap itself.
